The BOG program would not have been possible without the help and contributions of many people.

I would explicitly like to thank Dave Thompson for introducing me to the art of faceting, and Rob Kulakofsky for being such an outstanding and friendly teacher.

BOG underwent several months of beta testing by members of the faceting community. I would particularly like to thank Phil (in Florida) Stonebrook, Dave Thompson, Jerry Capps, and Bob Keller for their efforts and constructive feedback. I am also very grateful to Robert Strickland for comments on BOG, help with gem files, and for producing the wonderful GemCAD and GemRay programs.

Florian Briegel was instrumental in getting the website up and running. The BOG program and its documentation would not have been possible without Microsoft Visual Basic and Macromedia Dreamweaver, respectively.

Finally, I would like to thank my family, Inge Thiering, Matthew Herbst, and Timmy Herbst, for their support over the past few months. They displayed admirable patience with me, despite the difficulties of being a facet widow and facet orphans.
